After four years in Green Bay, Dr. Lystrup returned to her hometown of Eau Claire, WI to work at a small animal practice. In 2000, she started working at the Animal Emergency Clinic in the Twin Cities area. In 2008, she decided she needed some more normal hours, so she started working at Hillcrest. Outside of the veterinary field, she enjoys spending time with family, including her husband Brian and her two daughters, dog Sophia (black lab/boxer mix), and two cats named Bug and String Bean. Dr. Lystrup also enjoys skiing, scuba diving, many other sports, outdoor activities, and rooting on the Packers and Badgers.
